ELSA Norway
The European Law Students’ Association (ELSA) Norway is one of 44 national groups in the world’s largest independent law students’ association. In total, ELSA consists of approximately 50 000 members from over 375 faculties in Europe. In Norway there are three local groups, which are located in Oslo, Tromsø and Bergen.
ELSA Norway’s vision is in compliance with ELSA International’s «A just world in which there is respect for human dignity and cultural diversity». Our aim is to contribute to broad legal knowledge and promote mutual understanding and social responsibility among law students and young lawyers. Furthermore, ELSA Norway contributes to communication and cooperation among Norwegian law students across the country, and to give them international possibilities across borders.
Our local groups organize all types of events, like study trips, lectures, moot court competitions and parties. We also work with international students in particular, with programs like the international buddy week and ELSA Lingua language tandem.
Do you want to become active in ELSA, or attend our social events? Please contact the local group on your faculty, or follow their Facebook page to see what’s happening:
