I tillegg til å tilrettelegge for traineeships i utlandet, ønsker vi i ELSA Bergen gjennom Go International-prosjektet vårt å gi alle medlemmer muligheten til å reise som delegat på konferanser i FN og andre internasjonale organisasjoner, samt å kunne dra på ELSA Law Schools.
Delegations
ELSA Delegations er muligheten for studenter til representere ELSA på konferanser i organisasjoner som FN, WTO, Europarådet, WIPO, CICC, og OECD, for å nevne noen. Som delegat reiser du normalt med fire andre ELSA-medlemmer fra Europa, og sammen representerer dere ELSA på konferansen. ELSA åpner for flere delegatsøknader i løpet av året på delegations.elsa.org, og for å søke er det ingen karakterkrav. Vi hjelper deg også gjerne med søknaden!
Å være delegat passer perfekt på deg som ønsker å komme tett inn på internasjonal storpolitikk, og som har lyst til å se hvordan internasjonal rett foregår i praksis. Som delegat har du observatørstilling, som vil si at du får muligheten til å observere hvordan diplomater, politikere og jurister jobber. En virkelig unik opplevelse med sterke inntrykk!

ELSA Law Schools
ELSA gir reisestøtte til de som deltar på ELSA Law Schools, og det
er en fastsatt pris på 350€ for 7 dager. Dette er inkludert opphold, mat og faglig og sosialt opplegg. I tillegg kan man velge å betale for å delta på arrangementer som galla. Flybilletter er det eneste
du må organisere selv.
ELSA Law Schools arrangeres sommer og vinter og varer normalt mellom 7 og 14 dager. Å delta på en Law School er en fantastisk mulighet til å bli kjent med studenter fra hele verden, og du får også muligheten til å lære mer om juridiske temaer som interesserer deg. Støtteordning til Delegations og Law Schools
Dersom du er jusstudent ved UiB og har eller skal delta på en av ELSAs internasjonale tilbud, så har du nå muligheten til å få tilbakebetalt deler av utgiftene.
Tilbakebetalingen gjelder for deg som høsten 2021 eller våren/sommeren 2022 har deltatt på winter/summer law school, delegations eller hatt et traineeship.
Kostnader som kan dekkes er:
- deltageravgiften for law school
- sosialavgift til bankett som arrangeres av law school’en
- flybillett til og fra.
- Tur/retur flyplassen.
For at ELSA Bergen skal dekke utgiftene må følgende vilkår oppfylles:
- Kvittering for nevnte utgifter. Det kreves at du fyller ut vedlagt utleggsskjema for hvert utlegg.
- Du må skrive et reisebrev som skal inkludere bilder fra oppholdet, og som skal kunne benyttes til fremtidig markedsføring av law schools og delegations.
- Kunne delta på foredrag, takeover på instagram o.l for å formidle din opplevelse til medstudentene.
Søknadsfrist er 1. juli. 2022.

In addition to organising traineeships in Europe, we at ELSA Bergen aim to give all our members the opportunity to attend fascinating conferences as a delegate or participate in ELSA Law Schools through our Go International project.
Delegations
ELSA Delegations is an unique opportunity for students to attend conferences in organizations such as the UN, WTO, The Council of Europe, WIPO, CICC or the OECD, to name a few. As a delegate for ELSA you will usually travel with four other European ELSA members, and together you will be ELSAs representatives. To apply for ELSA delegations you need to fill out the application form at delegations.elsa.org. There are no grade requirements to apply. Application for delegations opens multiple times throughout the year. We are also very happy to help with your application if you have any questions.
Being a delegate is perfect for those who want to get a closer look at international politics, and who want to gain first hand experience of international decision making. As you travel as an observer, you will also have the opportunity to see how diplomats, politicians and lawyers work. A truly unique experience!

ELSA Law Schools
ELSA Law Schools offer trips to various law faculties throughout Europe. These trips will be published twice a year on lawschools.elsa.org. To apply you will only need to fill out the application form and attach a motivational letter. We will be happy to help if you have any further questions.
ELSA Law Schools are held twice a year, both in the summer and in the winter. The Law Schools normally last between 7 and 14 days, and include a variety of academic and social activities. Attending an ELSA Law School is a great opportunity to meet students from all over the world, and you will also get the opportunity to learn about topics that you are especially interested in. Economic Support for Delegations and Law Schools
If you are a law student at UiB and have or will participate in one of ELSA’s international offers, you now have the opportunity to be reimbursed part of the expenses.
The refund applies to you who in the autumn of 2021 or the spring/summer of 2022 have attended winter/summer law school, delegations or had a traineeship.
Costs that can be covered are:
- the participation fee for law school
- social tax for banquets arranged by the Law School
- flight ticket to and from the Law School
- Round trip to and from the airport
In order for ELSA Bergen to cover the expenses, the following conditions must be met:
- Receipt for the mentioned expenses. You are required to fill out the attached disbursement form for each disbursement.
- You must write a travel letter that will include photos from the stay, and which can be used for future marketing of law schools and delegations.
- Be able to attend lectures, takeovers on instagram, etc. to convey your experience to fellow students.
The application deadline is 1 July. 2022
The email containing a motivation letter, photos and disbursement form is sent to gointernational.bergen@no.elsa.org.

* The proportion of the expenses that are reimbursed is determined by the number of participants, and ELSA Bergen cannot guarantee that all expenses are covered.
